This month’s Attorney Spotlight introduces you to Real Estate practice group shareholder: Scott A. Marcus.
Scott co-chairs the residential real estate division of Becker’s Real Estate practice group. With over twenty years of experience in residential transactions focusing on high-end closings, Scott typically represents high net worth individuals, including professional athletes, in the purchase and sale of their properties. He also represents land developers with the sale of their project properties.
There’s another hat he wears at Becker: as the Director of Operations for Association Title Services (ATS). ATS is its own title company that provides residential real estate closings, title and escrow services throughout Florida and handles closings in all of Florida’s 67 counties. ATS’s combination of experience, service and attention to detail under Scott’s direction has made it known throughout the state for a white-glove closing process.
As a Peer Review Rated attorney by the Martindale-Hubbell Directory, Scott is recognized by fellow Florida lawyers for his outstanding professional ability, ethics and conduct. A regular lecturer and educator for real estate brokerage companies on contract-related compliance and changes, Scott is also a speaker for International Management Network (IMN) and the Miami New Construction Show.
