Attorney Spotlight: Elana Friedman Polashuk
This month’s Attorney Spotlight introduces you to Real Estate Attorney Elana Friedman Polashuk.
Elana has extensive real estate experience with a focus on commercial and residential transactions. Her practice includes representing both buyers and sellers in all aspects of the closing process, including title. Elana represents developers on planned project developments, including the creation of condominiums and homeowners’ associations. She also serves as Manager for Association Title Services (ATS), the firm’s title company, and helps take part in ATS hosted “boot camps” for real estate agents. ATS provides real estate closing, title, and escrow services throughout the State of Florida and handles closings in all 67 counties.
Elana received her Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Real Property Development from the University of Miami School of Law and is actively involved in various legal and industry groups including the Florida Bar Real Property Probate and Trust Law Section, the Urban Land Institute, and the AIPAC Real Estate Division & Washington Club.
A frequent writer on real estate related topics, she most recently penned, “Do the Deadlines on the FAR BAR “AS-IS” Residential Contract for Sale and Purchase expire at 5:00pm or 11:59?”
